A few days ago I got tagged by maddi (stumpfadventure.blogspot.com) . Its taking me a while to complete this, but better late than never, right?
1) Im typing one handed right now, baby in the other :)
2) I prefer salty to sweet, but can NEVER resist chocolate.
3) I love to eat, hate to cook
4) I have the BEAUTIFUL children that i live for and would die for, and have absolutely no desire to have any more :)
5) I like outdoor pets only.
6) I want to live outside of town, where i can look out and not see a neighbor within a mile or two.
7) I wish every day was sunny and 75 degrees, but if must rain... I suppose I do get a little inspired when i see a storm rolling in, the sound of thunder... its healing sometimes.
8) I talk to my mom every day on the phone. She's a good momma.
9) I am addicted to buying children's clothes. I had to cut myself off, but i still have that itch...
10) I am a 'stay at home mom' most of the time, and there is no more important job in the entire world, nor one more challenging. I love it.
If you could change places with someone for one day who would it be and why?
Hmmmm well, I have no complaints on my own life, but probably a child... being a grown up has so many more pressures and stressors, and I love being a wife and mom, but i would probably take a day of being a child again, not really knowing real stress or responsibility. Just... that child-like innocence and peace, the kind that I pray my children have.
What is your favorite Holiday and why?
Thanksgiving. (of course it used to be Christmas when i was younger!) I love the family gathering just to visit and eat, a time to be Thankful. I just feel 'warm' when I think about Thanksgiving, its a special day. :)
What is your favorite memory from childhood?
There is NO way I could identify just one, i truly had such a happy childhood. A few are playing in the apple orchards behind our neighbors house, playing in our treehouse, playing summer ball, family bike rides, visiting my grandma's house on Sundays, church camp...
What is your favorite non-alcoholic drink?
Cherry Coke
What advice would you give me for being newly married?
Pick your battles, let the small stuff go. Save the gripes for the 'big deal' issues. Meet in the middle... compromise is important. Love is more important than winning a battle, and if you both realize that, then you both 'win'.
What is your favorite store to shop at?
Can I be vague and just say any store at the Tuscola Outlet Mall... its my ultimate stress relief. Retail Therapy!!
Alrighty, I think thats it! :)
#4, ha ha ha...I'm only 25 weeks along and I am right there with ya! I know that once I see this sweet baby's face I will totally be done!!! It's hard being pregnant and chasing after my 2 year old and almost 4 year old. My family will definitely be complete with the addition of Baby #3. Mitch and I are both from families with 3 kids...I guess it's just our number :)
