Spring Fun

Yes, this is in MY bed. She is also wearing MY shirt. On the bright side, they are rice cakes so they arent as unhealthy as they could be... on the down side, there were crumbs everywhere. Oh, Bella, my little mess maker! As you can guess, i was more amused than angry... so i just snapped a few pictures and let her enjoy. Sheets can be washed.... plus it was on Brandons side of the bed haha!
Visiting for about 2 months is the owner of the business that Brandon and I help run, and his daughter Alexandra. She is half Thai, half German and 100% cute. :) Sophia and her share the same birthday, July 21 but Alex is one full year older. They get along very well and play together all day long every weekday. Bella tries to play too, but she is a little aggressive when things dont go her way so she has to be separated a lot of times. She is learning though.

Another fun thing about the Kertscher's visiting, is that they have horses at their house and have let the girls come out there a few times and ride their horses. This of couse thrills the girls to no end! They LOVE horseback riding. Well, Sophia rides and Bella just pets the "hersies." But they both love to be there and its such a wonderful experience for them to have. We really thank Andre for giving the girls a chance to learn to ride the horses and have fun out there!

Spring Fever

Thank Goodness its finally spring! I think all of us were in desperate need of some time outside after being cooped up here all winter!

We have been taking daily excursions outside, and its been fun for all of us. Yesterday was Bella’s 2nd Birthday (pics to come after parties) and she and I went to visit my parents. We went to the park, and the girls cousin Madelynn went along. They had a blast, and as you can see from the picture they love each other. It was the PERFECT day to go to the park: sunny and warm with a nice cool breeze.

Today was only half day of work, Brandon is mowing while Sophie naps and Bella watches the Princess and the Frog. This is my new favorite movie! It should be, too, because we have watched it at least two times a day for the last week. :) Most afternoons are spent finishing up the workday, then letting the girls drive the mustang around. This is absolutely adorable, and brings us just as much joy as it does them. Sophia can switch gears, reverse like a pro, park and manuever in and out of tight spaces. She is a complete pro!

The girls are looking forward to Easter, and i look forward to getting lots of cute pictures to post from the weekend!

Happy Easter everyone!
